96年、RAVEシーンからの影響を受けDJとしてのキャリアをスタート。

伝説のまま活動休止となったエレクトロ・HIPHOPユニット「アルファ」のDJ兼プロデューサーとし て知る人も多いだろう。「サマーソニック」や「ライジングサンロックフェスティバル」等にも多数出 演経験を持つあのカリスマ的ユニットのサウンドメーカーこそが彼、Tomothである。 国内メジャー音楽シーンのプロデューサーとして、長年に渡り多数アーティストの楽曲を制作。

近年ではDJとしても勢力的な活動を開始し、その幅をアジアやヨーロッパへと拡大。海外アーティス トのプロデュースにも着手し始めた。

2018年にはLil Tracy をfeatした「She’s a Dancer」をリリース。これがSoundCloudを中心に一 気に全米へ派生し、一躍ワールドワイドの評価を獲得。

続けて Tyler, The Creator 率いる “OFWGKTA” からHodgy (MellowHype) をゲストに迎えた 「HELAS」をリリース。世界のアンダーグラウンドシーンへ Made in Japanの実力を知らしめた。

またその才能は音楽のみに留まらず、アパレルブランドのプロデューサーとしてもカリスマ性を発 揮。ストリートシーンを席巻する「CHAOTIC TOKYO」の顔として世界へ名を轟かせている。現在ブラ ンドの愛用者には、Skrillex率いるレーベル”OWSLA”のMijaやWiwekらも名を連ねている。

TOMOTH started his DJ career in 1996

which was influenced by RAVE music. People knew him as a member of the electro, HIPHOP unit ALPHA, as the group that DJ and producer.

ALPHA was a legendry unit and they played at many big events, such as SUMMER SONIC and FUJIROCK festivals etc.

For Many years he produced music for lots of Japanese major artists,
and recentry he spinning tunes more than before and he also plays overseas. He also started to produce for international artists.
In 2018 TOMOTH released「She’s a Dancer」featuring Lil Tracy.

This tune became a soundcoud in the U.S, establishing his reputation internationaly.

And after this, he released ‘HELAS’, featuring Hodgy (MellowHype) from Tyler, The Creator’s label OFWGKTA, showcasing his talent and Japan-made tracks to the world’s underground scene.

TOMOTH produces CHAOTIC TOKYO, a Tokyo street clothing label, with many fans, including Mija and Wiwek from Skrillex.
